Post by bumblebabe 30th July 2010, 2:20 pm

now im totally confused, i had been thinking for a while my size keeps going up and down, i was a 34dd measured after my 6wk check by lasenza,
i had noticed in the week they had started to get a bit gappy across the boob so i thought i had shrunk a little,

now today on a day out i went to a bravisimo as lots of you said it was so good, i didint have one near where i live, and they have measured me a 30ff!!

i thought omg what is going on.
la senza say 34dd and 34e in balconet and bravisimo say 30ff,
totally confused, they both fit nice,

La Senza are generally smaller in band size I find, so whereas I fit a 32 band in La Senza, 32 in all other makes are way too big. I think they do it to make the cup sizes sound bigger. Women with natural boobs are more likely to go to a store if they're an E cup rather than a store that says they're a C cup.

But Bravissimo are fab aren't they!

Congrats on the FF!

i will just try them on as i go next time,
will be hard finding a 30ff bra anywhere, bravisimo is qute a distance from me and i wouldent risking online ordering,
im sure theres other girls on here with same ish size thats found places,

I order all mine from Ultimo or Bravissimo online babes, its not so bad. Very easy to return too. John Lewis are pretty good as well. I am lucky though as i do have a bravissmo near to me....i don't go too often cause i spend more than if i shop online....lol

Congrats on the FF!!!! wahooooooo.

p.s i wouldve said you were way bigger than a DD & def not a 34 back

I think its just that different brands vairy. I'm a 32ff in most places but then in la senza I need a 34g but bravissmo said was a 30g and in primark I can fit into a 34e so it is mega confusing. I just make sure I always try on and try a few sizes to see what looks and feels the best. xx

I found in bravissimo I'm a 32FF marks and spencer a 30G can get away with a 34E or DD in primark and a 34F or 32FF/G in la senza it really does depend on the cut of the bra.

lol I just say I'm a 32FF as that is what I was recently measured at in bravissimo. Take the measurement you like the most. I wear DD bras at times but no one knows

I wouldn't worry too much about cup sizes as long as you're happy overall with your breast size babe.

Just like different shops measure different dress sizes (Next measure very differently to Top Shop) Different bra manufacturers measure differently too, I tend to keep to the bras that I find give me the best shape and fit and consider that the size I measure. xx

Hey Hun, take a measurement under your breast on your rib cage all the way around. Then Rule of them is add 4 if even and 5 if odd to get the band size that fits you best! I find I only add 2 to that number though to get the right number. You want to have 2 fingers space and the front underwire cup in the middle should sit flat against your chestwall! And that's your size! Implants measure very different I found a website on how to measure implants cgz they size differently from normal boobs, measure from sterum across fulliest part of the breat to the other side that's on the armpit and depending on that number your size is determined! I think the site was called justbreast or something like that. I know you might have already figured this out since this was written so long ago, maybe it will help others. You probally are actually the 30g cuz if u can fit that flat I dont see you being able to sit the dd e against your chestwall
I can fit my boobs in a 34 dd 36 dd but basically the band isnt touch my chestwall at all and equals no support hardly :) xxxx
