just a quick question,
i have been told to shower as norm then replace my micropore tape when incisions are dry.

i was just wandering how long for?

Just untill they seem healed? im not seeing surgeon Dr Lurve again for 3 weeks, do i do it untill then?

and im NOT to put anything on scars untill 6 weeks yeah?
im sorry for all the silly questions, just i think outloud and know the answers really , but 2nd guess myself alot, rather than ring the clinic, i know you guys are the best to ask xxx

I showered as normal (with the plasters still on the incisions) then dried them gently with a hairdryer. After a few days they fell off and then I just left them. I was advised to use rosehip oil but if you've been told to leave them for 6 weeks then I'd do that.

I left my scars alone after they took the plasters off when I was 13 days post op. When I showered I patted them dry and put on a clean sports bra. I didn't put anything on my scars for 6 weeks. But I put bio oil and palmers cocoa butter on everyday. If your not sure I'm sure you can give the nurse a ring just to put your mind at ease.
