I have a Date for re-op...Finally!!

well my lovelies i never thought i would ever post this thread but i am having my boobs on Monday 16th November at The Nuffield Hospital in Brentwood, will be an overnight stay.The surgeon explained alot to me but do you know what i went blank and started shaking and when i got out i totally forgot what implants he suggested using on me
I know their 350's and the other ones are Mentor but for the life of me i cannot remember what he called the ones he would prefer to use, their a little more expensive but he said he could do them the same price for me due to the situation.
he wants another consultation with me the week before the op so he can got hrough the whole procedure with me and show me the implants etc.
Oh well, ticker is counting down and my heart is racing along with it, here we go x x x x

Wow hun. I know you have been waiting for this day for so long. You've had so many dissapointments. Waiting around and really down days. I'm so glad you are excited and I'm sure this surgeon is gonna make you a lovely Pair of boobies.

That's great news, SS, and it isn't long until 16th November! Your surgeon sounds very thorough and experienced, so glad it is all going to be sorted out for you. I always get nervous before my consultations and check-ups, so beforehand I try to write down questions I want to ask and try to remember to write down my ps' answers. Having said that, I often forget to write down his answers and forget what he said afterwards!

I kept looking on his notes at a picture he drew of my boobs the last time i saw him and was thinking how hideous they looked and that's all i seemed to concentrate on then dim wit or what.
It's bugging me now the name of these implants, i even watched him write it down and thought i must rememebr that and then i got out, rang my OH and text a few girls and that was it, memory erased!!

that could be them Cakey because he mentioned their primarily used in reconstructions and he can adjust the volume via small tube in his surgery after i've had the op and swelling has gone down etc and when he removes the small tube there is a self closing valve, he also said their very expensive but wouldn't charge me any more than the cost for the Mentor Implants, i think Mentor make these too if i am right, what do you think i should do?? Am unsure

Soo Soo pleased for you!! I guess you are exhausted as well as excited!! I think you need a few days taking it easy now, as all the build up will be taking it's toll now that you have a positive plan and and date.
Be really good to yourself for once babe!! I have tears in my eyes too, warm ones, you know the ones you cant stop... and dont really want to!! and I am shaking too.....I guess it is relief and joy in one.
You look soo vulnerable in your new pic SS..well minus the balloons
You are such a strong, caring and beautifull person inside and out.....you deserve the best!! and, you are not far away from having it....Happy Days

i am going to go to bed now and re-think tmorrow, i may even remember more then.
This is the easy part, just wait till the op date nears and i am a wreck! oh i will need your words of wisdom then for sure i will.

The link i posted are mentor ones hun, it may be those as they say at the bottom how expensive they are, and are filled with mainly gel and some saline, im sure you will find out more next time anyway chick just think your finally getting your new boobs! aw im so excited for you hun!

Oh SS!! You truly are a star!!! Bed and sleep is what you need.. calm your body and mind...does not really matter what and if you remember...you know how you feel about surgeon and trust him....just believe. You have another appointment so you can go over it again, the important issue is you are getting the best, and to enable that you need to be well and not stressed.
The op and recovery will be a walk in the park for you!! Just look what you have endured in your life soo far...I would be looking forward to an op and a night away from it...think of it as a day and night in a posh hotel being pampered and on your own for once....sheer bliss!!!! Night Night Sleep Tight

this is great news hunny, so happy for you, you seem to have been through alot and still kept strong about it. and give out such good advice to people and make them feel everything ok.
