Aww no I can't believe they cancelled it! Exactly the same happened to me when I had a rhinoplasty they rang up 3 days b4 the op and said that there was summat wrong with my platelets so I said let me get another test done so I went to my local hospital that day n had a blood test then my go faxed the results over to harley medical group n it was fine so I cud stil hav the op, good luck x x x

hi hun, oh thats good news that you still got to have your op, bet you was relieved.so how comes there was something wrong with your platelets and the next test was fine, do you think it might of been a false reading? where your platelets low?? xx

Well the man who did it couldn't find my vein n it took him about 6 tries to get some blood n when he did it really felt forced so I thought it was because of that then the nurse at my local hospital got it first time, they said the platelets were clumped or something it was 2 years ago now so I can't remember exactly wat they said but it must of been a false reading I'm sure your next one will come back fine I know how u feel though it felt like the end of the world wen I got that call everything will be fine though hav u had another test done? X x

Just saw your post, I am so so so sorry for you, if any consolation Spire ran my bloods last monday, so they do test blood prior to GA. I will keep everything crossed for you, I am sure the doctors can get it sorted out for you to proceed... good luck,, lots of hugs

aw sweetheart what a blow and so close to your operation date too. Can see why you're so disappointed but better safe than sorry hey.

aww bless ya hun, so when are you having ure ba? and have you had ure pre op blood tests done yet?

and thanks ladies for kind msgs, im having a blood test next wednesday so hopefully that will be ok, and then i can get book a new date,i was a bit naughty at the weekend tho and was out drinking with friends, i did get told not to as alcohol can lower ure platelets but my excuse was was that it was bank holiday weekend, silly ,i know, regret it now x

No not anywhere near booking yet I had a consultation with aurora but didn't really feel comfortable with the surgeon then they quoted me 7 grand for a nipple lift with implants so I've got another consult sept 15 with mybreast and half the money I had saved has jus gone on my car so that's made the wait even longer! It next test will be fine I bet they get loads of false readings fingers crossed! X x x

That's what I thought! Yeah I dunno why we do it to ourselves either but u only live once so y live in a body ur not happy with lol do u no wen ur op will b if ur test on weds is fine? Bet it's messed loads stuff up like time off work etc.. What a nightmare it will l be okay though I'm sure they just hav to be extra careful don't they x X x

yeh,its messed up loads,like babysitters, my mum booked a week off work, and my dad booked a day off to take me up to london and back, ugh!! very stressful, well iam unsure of a surgery date still,which is annoying as it takes 7 - 1o working days to get my results from docters, then if thats still saying low platelets,ill have to re book more appointments,wait another 7-10 days etc etc,fingers crossed test comes back alrite! lol xx

i am keeping everything crossed for you hun. I suffer then same and really low iron to sp my GP has already got my on loads of iron and i need keeping an eye on everything even though i still have no idea what is going to happy with my BA. Its all so annoying isn't it.?
I really hope your not waiting to long for your op now. xx
