Hey there hope all you lovely ladies are well?

I have had a cyst just beneath the surface of my skin for about three years and it's never given me any problems. However the last few days it's been sore and I woke upmthis morning and the only waybtobdescribe it is it's angry looking, big swollen red and full of pus (tmi sorry) went to see the nurse practitioner and she said it's infected, has givens anti biotics and I've got to see gp in a couple of weeks to have it removed- eeek! Have any of you had a cyst? I'm really worried that it's going to affect my implant, I've tried to call my surgeon but he's on annual leave til next week, I really can't wait til then to find out- any advice would be appreciated.

I think when it's calmed down with the antibiotics the GP will just remove or drain it out. You'll be fine.
