i had a shower last night and when i took my bra off i see something digusting in my bra. i got a mirror so i could check under neath at my scar on my left breast and its all raised and itchy and really pusy. i had a review with my surgeon on sat and he told me to massage my left breast with bio oil to bring it down. i think thats what has done it, but surely the infection would of most probably already been there but under the skin. how annoying now i will have to travel back again. i have booked an appointment with my gp for today and tried contacting my clinic but no answer. do you think i should inform them and book to see my surgeon again.
im just really annoyed seems to be one thing after another. just want to enjoy my boobies.. xx infections 923101

So sorry to hear you're having problems serena infections 571992

I don't really know much about infection but just wanted to offer some support. Hope it goes well with your GP today and he/she can give you some answers..maybe they'll advise whether it's something you should be seeing your ps about.

I also have to massage left boobie to help it drop, so you're not alone..mine are definitely not even atm.

Let us know how it goes hun xxx

i would definately get it checked out as soon as you can. it may be a surface infection but it can travel if left so whatever you do don't leave it, hopefully your GP will prescribe anti-biotics for you today, good luck x x

Hi Serena!!

Been thinking of you!!! I would certainly have it checked out, I think antibiotics will do the trick for infection.

I dont think massaging your breast and bio oil is going to help the infection, your surgeon needs to give you meds for it otherwise the implant may have to come out if the infection spreads to the whole breast. Give them a call asap and demand this
