Taking off band for evening out tonight...? Empty Taking off band for evening out tonight...?

Post by Lucy106 23rd January 2016, 10:24 am

Morning girls,

I've been wearing the compression band with my macom since just before week 3. When I last saw surgeon he said to wear band for another 2 weeks (so 3 weeks total wear). I'm due to stop wearing it on Tuesday.

I'm going out with husband tonight - just a few drinks. Would it hurt to take it off for a few hours so I can at least wear something nice? Just have nothing nice to wear - this band doesn't allow it!

Help!!

Xx

Officially, no, you should keep it on as your surgeon has told you to. Unofficially, if you're due to take it off tues, I dont see how a couple of hours tonight is going to do any damage.

Thanks Charlii! Am wearing a jumper with vest top and strap underneath. Will take off the jumper and strap off at the last moment! X
