Mammogram....too soon? Empty Mammogram....too soon?

Advise wanted I've been called for a mammogram I'm 6 months post op,just wondering if it's safe to do so?or is it too soon have read all sorts on the web about them rupturing!!!...quite concerned and not sure what to do?? Xxx

My surgeon said when the time comes I would need an MRI scan and not a mammogram due to the implants. I'd ask whoever sent you the invite.

I'm assuming this is a routine mammogram? Have a chat with your surgeon to reassure yourself that the test itself won't cause any issues. It shouldn't, implants are made to withstand a lot of pressure. But be sure to mention them when it comes to booking it, as they may have to take additional steps to ensure they get a good image.

I had to have one before i had my BA.

I will now not need one for three years and then I will have to have a MRI due to having "unders".

In the UK you don't get called for free screening until you are age 50. My mammo before my BA was private and cost me £280.
