Just had my third check up at thg
So happy with the aftercare so far at Thg the nurses have been so helpful and answered all my questions and concerns. I've finally had all glue removed as apparently my surgeon Mr Payne is very glue happy. I was a little worried as my right is still a little higher than left as silicone hasn't gone down as much the nurse advised to wear a less impact sports bra to help it drop more.I was also told to keep strapping on for 6 weeks so double checked I was right as nurse said 4 weeks was normal. The nurse saw I was slightly worried so took pics of my progress to email to my surgeon or show him as he was working today that's made me at ease more. The scars are healed great and I feel good too roll on 12 weeks post op till I see surgeon and can hopefully wear bras again x

Yes I'm keeping strapping on for another 2 and a half weeks see how I feel after that point. The nurse informed surgeon today and he will contact about some exercises to help right drop more but think I'm still under a month so not too worried it just looks slightly swollen but I know it's implant not swelling if you know what I mean so was worried if it was stuck or taking too long but been reassured so can't complain they are so helpful but maybe because a few girls are suffering with some major problems at the minute x

Is the right side the larger implant?
Think of the operation as 2 separate operatiobs. Miss right could have been through a bit more and still feeling the effects of it! X

The right is smaller implant feels different than left like it's swollen at top more and not smooth like the left more like smooth a slight ridge then smooth again just googled to see if normal and maybe to do with muscle that side being tighter as I'm right handed so fingers crossed it's that as I'm more worried if it's an infection or fluid but no redness or bruising fingers crossed it's just them settling as I know that can take months x

I'm sure Anne had something similar regarding a ridge which disappeared as she healed? She may be around later to advise from her experience.Loubeeloujack wrote:The right is smaller implant feels different than left like it's swollen at top more and not smooth like the left more like smooth a slight ridge then smooth again just googled to see if normal and maybe to do with muscle that side being tighter as I'm right handed so fingers crossed it's that as I'm more worried if it's an infection or fluid but no redness or bruising fingers crossed it's just them settling as I know that can take months x
