Anger? Empty Anger?

Am I angry at my surgeon? Or am I angry at myself for trusting my surgeon?

I don't think she should do the revision surgery, you have no faith or trust in her. She constantly contradicts herself, can't the lead surgeon at that clinic do it, who you saw? I don't think it's unreasonable to say you don't have trust in her now.

I feel really crappy for you, but it's obvious you and her just don't jel.
You should be able to trust your surgeon hun, otherwise what's the point! And if you do come across a hurdle, you should feel you can out across your feelings and be heard.
She just didn't want to hear and was very dismissive of your last time.

Push for another surgeon, if you can.

Good Luck hunny

It's so horrible! Because at first she seemed so understanding and down to earth...and then after she is just so manipulative I see straight through her now and just wish I could have seen it before!!

I just don't see another surgeon doing it realisticly without me paying for it or going through it all legally...

I don't have the money to pay again and legal is just not cool it will just be so stressful ....

...I feel like I ask for another surgeon to do it through Aurora and they say no and I end up having to go with her ...I don't think being on bad terms with someone slicing up your body is going to help..!

A surgeon working for free is off their own back...I don't see how another surgeon would slip in to do someone elses dirty work for free!!

ERgh. such a horrible situ!

Sorry you're having a tough time. Without me knowing the ins and outs, I agree you need to trust your surgeon therefore think carefully about that. BUT you have the opportunity to have some revisions which may help you. Without the benefit of endless finances and hindsight, I would pay for an independent consultation with a different surgeon through a different clinic (BMI, spire?). Tell them what your surgeon is proposing, and ask if you went ahead with them what would they do. If they concur, then hopefully trust can be restored again. If they don't, then I would go back and discuss it again, armed with a professional written opinion. It's so annoying she's said one thing and then another. But the Devils advocate in me says to remember this boob journey is not an exact science and there are a lot of unknowns until your sliced open or fully recovered. Like i said, I haven't caught up with the full story, but try not to get disheartened as she may be able to help you without you needing to take further action. Maybe you'll feel differently when you've reflected and got another opinion. Good luck xxx

Thank you for your advice girls.

I know I need to cool down for one. Not been a good day atall!

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] that is such a balanced thing so say and half of it is in the back of my mind too. Money wise, I do believe it is worth me trying to sort things out with her as you're right she may be able to help me.

I did get a 2nd opinion from a surgeon at aurora and he agreed it needs revision so I know I have that on my side. He has spoke to her for me as well.

And by not being an exact science that is right unfortunately, and I do believe the decisions made previously were done in good faith... revisions are needed in some cases...I am just one of them, that's what I need to think instead of all these emotions.... also if she will be making more minor adjustments than last time...it has to be easier to be a better result surely??

She said they want it to be totally free for me they are just looking for a way around the hosp fees, I said thank you ''that's what we are here for'' ....finally someone on my side!! I just hope they get a way around it then!!

Oh god I must be emotional if I am this easily pleased after my mood 5 minutes ago!

She is on holiday the next couple of weeks ...and said she has got the ball rolling already but surgery won't be until after then...I have exams for the next month so it all works out fine...she will book me in to see my surgeon again on the same day as pre op as I said I would like to know the implant size...
