Right incision hurts
Hi ,I have this terrible cough and I'm coughing day and night continuous. My right incision is really sore. I'm just wondering if I have done something to the stitches inside? Could this happen through coughing? Xxx

I can see it would happen through coughing, seen as it puts a strain on your chest.
Maybe give your clinic a call if you're worried.

Re: Right incision hurts
It may have put a bit of pressure on them but wouldn't have split them by coughing.
Dissolvable stitches used I. The inside start knitting together after a couple of weeks and then take around 3 months to fully dissolve.
It probably aches from the coughing as made them a tad sore.
Maybe steam your face to alligator some of the coughing. Or run a boiling shower with the door shut and make like a steam room in your bathroom. X

It's likely just a sprain, you won't have popped them. But as always, if you're worried, go back to the clinic
