Thinking of buying a macom post op bra as it seems less confusing then trying to work out if you're in the right sized sports bra and will accommodate any changes down the line. Just need to check it's ok with surgeon but he told me to get a high impact sports bra so hoping that's equivalent. There are loads of different model numbers....did people just get the 'best seller'? I can't really tell much difference between the types!

I wish I'd bought the macom for post op I ended up spending a fortune. It's high impact, so fine for you. It's the 007 you want, just the hook and eye front, nothing fancy. Measure around your band line, whatever that lands on corresponds to a size. I'm 32 and got a small. Still wear it to bed now!

Thanks charli think I'll go ahead and order now! I was just looking at their sizing....before my op my band measured 31, but I wore 34aa (obviously too big). But the nurse just put on my 34c sports bra and needed to use bra extender I guess as I'm swollen and incisions sore and drains still in. So I was wondering if medium would be better, or if small would be better as swelling will go soon, touchwood

It's going to take a few days delivery, and my thinking is you're going to be spending more time healing not swollen. Personally I'd go for the small, and wear it on the looser eye, then when the swelling goes down tighten it. You could always stick with the other sports bra for a couple weeks for it to go down, then switch.
