Woke at 2am (needing a wee)
Took ages to sit up as I felt all sore & stiff.
Once I did it eased off.....Thankfully.
Guessing this is normal perhaps Morning boob??? ( only more like: middle of the night boob)

Also my bum/tail bone is hurting/numbing where I've been kinda leant on it.
Is it ok to lie down fully with just shoulders raised? If that makes sense?

Morning Hun. Omg yeah im getting morning boob, so stiff and achey when I wake up! I think cos we've been in the same position for hours everything stuffens up. But I think from other girls stories that it's perfectly normal, and wears of after 20 mins or so of movement xxx

Good morning,
As long as your head and shoulders are elevated that's ok, no need to be sleeping fully upright.
You could try a pillow or one of those heat in micro cushions at your lower back to get more comfy. The first week is always the worst trying to get comfortable in a new position to what you're used to. XXX

Yeah my tail bone is achy too! That's so weird! I think cos were on our back, there's a lot of prolonged pressure on that area. Have you got your knees elevated. I've got a pillow underneath my knees, helps a little x

Thanks hun - yes I did pop a plump cushion under the knees.

Morning Mirren
Thank you, I have put a pillow under my lower back/upper bum, which eases it a little.

Thank you both xx

Wow your lucky misszc! I suppose if your comfortable doing so then should be fine, but be careful not to over do it! There's obviously a lot going on underneath, so you don't wana push yourself too hard. I can barely do anything for myself, can't even pull the light switch/flush the toilet! :-/ xx

Haha lol yeah coughing is the worst! Or laughing too hard :-)
I suppose as long as your not lifting anything/using your chest muscles, but jus keeping mobile then that can only be a good thing. I'm guessing you must have got over your ga pretty quickly then, I still feel drugged up so wouldn't wana go out anyway, but everyone gets over the ga differently, I guess you recovered from it really quick! But try not to worry Hun, I'm sure everything will be fine xxx

haha that is ok, I am not just sat in bed, that would drive me CRAZY!!!  panic

I'm just pottering about the bedroom and then in bed a bit, then sitting reading etc.
My mum is here downstairs with my little one as hubby has gone to work.
Little one has snuffles poor thing was up in the night, I felt helpless not going to see him. Hubby had to see to him instead.

You take it a bit easy hun! Although it is nice to hear you're well. I wanna KFC now. mmmm, our nearest is 35 mins away so it can wait xx

Morning all. The morning boob is the worst, you feel like theyre going to fall off! But it'll pass soon enough. You dont have to be sleeping bolt upright, you just need your shoulders above your heart in order to help drain the swelling, else it will pool. A pillow under the bum and knees should help to keep you comfy and in place.

Do make sure you're up and doing things, even if its just a lap round the house before back to resting, this will also help with the swellings. Keep on top of your painkillers, even if you feel you dont need them, as its the pills masking the pain! Couple more days and you'll be all gravy baby!

Sleep whenever you can! I spend the first couple days with a travel pillow permanatly around my neck so I could pass out at any moment! If youre sleeping, your healing!
