Six week check!!

Well Just wanted to share my news after arriving back from my six week check up!

I have been told I am healing nicely and comparing pictures from before up until now its an amazing feeling :)

My boobs were giggled around again by the nurse which really hurt last time and I ached for the rest of the day but it felt fine today! I was also told my scars are looking fab and are so small and neat (which I agreed with haha:Ok:  )

Have been given the go ahead to wear wires!! Will go to get measured sometime this week I hope :D
Am also allowed a bath which I have big plans for already!  Also can use bio oil on my scars if I want and to go braless at night (not going to happen...these boobies are staying put lol)

So all in all I couldn't be happier...have an appointment with my surgeon booked and I cant wait to show him my boobs!


Just wanted to thank you all for your support throughout my journey!! The advice and reassurance has been incredible and without everyone on this forum (esp cookie who looks after us all so well) I don't think I would have had the courage to take this step!    xx

Now you can treat your boobs as you would your own and fully enjoy them.

Thank you    im so so happy :) Having boobies is a great feeling! I wonder if I will ever stop cupping them haha :) I rub them when im out as well without realising it! xx

That's fab news Jen... The time has come now for you to enjoy them with a lot less worry. Good luck with the measuring and I'm sure you will be whooping with pure excitement when you'll eventually see the size bra you'll be filling :))) x

Thanks jen, I know I have but will be grateful once evrything has healed and can look forward to buying bras without any padding/gel and not gaping at the top.

Yes it's hard being patient but everyday gets better... I always think that... We will walk into underwear shops and buy a bra we love... Not one full of padding!!! Ohh the gaping... Don't miss that!! The only thing is now is nipple awareness haha... Without padding they show when it's chilly!!! Xx

Wow that's a good size, I'm in a 32e sports bra now so wonder what size I'll end up if you're a 32e? Can't wait now to get measured but three more weeks to go :(

Not yet because they are all quite expensive and I'm not sure if I will change yet so trying to be good lol!!
Rach you might stay the same or go up a cup size... It all depend, some women need more cc's than other to be an E/F xx
