Re: Consultation
It's an amazing feeling to have direct contact with your surgeon!COOKIE wrote:Lol... I see you soon binned the PCCs and went with a BAAPS surgeon after that then who don't use them at all.... With a BAAPS surgeon you will always see them directly and have direct contact with them either via email or consultation. Xx
I just email him and it takes 5 minutes to get an answer-from him. And not from someone that knows less about BA than I do.

Re: Consultation
They are a big investment for me but I think I will be the same holding them and protecting them as much as I possibly can. I really can't wait to get the ball rolling hoping I can save the extra £2200.00 I need as soon as possible

Glad you're feeling more positive about the uplift, I did too when I came on here which is why I commented as everyone made me feel so much better!
I don't have direct contact with the surgeon though- should I? X

Re: Consultation
Lisa - As you're pre-BA I guess this will be probably given to you post-op but there's absolutely no reason why you can't request her email address now if you'd like it. As a BAAPS surgeon this should be no problem at all and I know women here have her email addy so its not something she withholds from her patients at all. Xx

Re: Consultation
Not all surgeons have direct contact and they are of course super professional even if they let a secretary handle their communication.Lias6246 wrote:Glad you're feeling more positive about the uplift, I did too when I came on here which is why I commented as everyone made me feel so much better!

I don't think it's very common to have such a personal contact with patients as my surgeon has. But since I'm a very worried person I needed to have that type of direct contact.
But ask about who you will have contact with after your surgery if you are worried.

Re: Consultation
Thanks cookie - as always, you superstar. I was getting worried I didn't have it and should but it makes more sense to get it after surgery.
Zoe, this site is invaluable and will always make you feel so much better x

Re: Consultation
Ha ha I feel your pain, my surgeon stretched my skin out and said I would have to go bigger than Jordan to fill the skin out then did a diagram of my boobs - wrinkly lines and all! X

Re: Consultation
Hi honey, I hope you're ok. This is what happened when I went for my consultation. I was gutted, he told me, for me to even think about having a BA I would have to have an uplift!
After been upset and crying all the time the ladies here give me loads of reassurance & told me to get a second opinion, which I did and now I'm so happy!! After the shock of been told I would need an uplift at 21 I'm over the moon because my boobs will just be how I want them!! Xx
