Got Measured (pre-Op)
Hello,
I was in John Lewis today and figured it'd be good to find out my actual bra size. I've been wearing 32Bs or 32Cs heavily padded to fill the extra space, but as it turns out I'm actually a 30D/DD!!! WTF?? lol. This is completely crazy as they look really small! How bizarre...
My bf said 'oh well then, there's no need to get a boob job anymore!'. Just having a decent letter there in the size obviously doesnt mean much though, I still want to look bigger than I do.

Re: Got Measured (pre-Op)
its not really that big bb as 30 band is quite small the bigger the band the bigger the bra and boobs

Re: Got Measured (pre-Op)
A 30D is the same cup as a 34B so its not as big as it sounds, its how you feel about your body, not what you measure. Not just girls with AA boobs get BA hun x
Re: Got Measured (pre-Op)
Or maybe John Lewis sizes are smaller than other places like La Senze and such like?

Re: Got Measured (pre-Op)
And thanks nads, I guess it would be kinda the same as a 34B, didnt think of it that way. Not so confused anymore :-)
I still plan to go ahead with getting a BA, as I feel inadequate and thats all that matters really, thats the reason for doing it. I sort of wavered a little for a day or 2 because of pressure from a friend trying to put me off, but I feel confident again that I this is what I want. I think I'll book myself some consultations :-)

Hi Nisey!!
Good for you for getting measured pre-op...which I had, good idea for all other pre-op girls too!
Like the girls have said numbers and letters are just that!!! It is how we feel that is the most important part of such a major decision.
If you are certain this is for you.....You go girl xx

Re: Got Measured (pre-Op)
It's not about the letter you measure, it's about the size you want to be. Proportionately, like nads said, it's the same as a 34B.
You might want to try getting measured at Bravssimo if they think you're a D. They were much more accurate for me.
