Tanning !! LOL
This has just occurred to me ! I do my own tan every 5th day at home.... Like being brown :). Even when I recover well enough do I stay away from the boo's and scar for a time ?

Re: Tanning !! LOL
I'm also a tan addict... Or I was!! The boobs have broken my habit! I haven't put fake tan on since having mine done 3 months ago but I might get back into it once it gets a bit warmer and I have more flesh on show.
If you can't I'd probably leave it 6 weeks after op. I asked the same question before my op and Charlii quite rightly pointed out that even if u don't put lotion on the boobs or scars when u shower it will still run into the scars mixed in with water. You aren't supposed to go swimming until 6 weeks post op due to risk of infection in the scars so I was basing my decision not to tan on that principle!

Oh yes, most def stay away from the incisions. Ps will give you guidelines on when you can moisturise so till then nothing keep them dry and clean. As fare as your actual boobs, you can and are advised to moisturise to help skin stretch and stop them becoming dry (which they will do around a week po), so I don't see why you can't tan your chest with a tinted moisturiser. But do check with your ps first xx

Ask yourself one question - is it really worth it?
You're spending all this money on having a major operation, do you really want to risk infection for a bit of fake tan? 6 weeks really isn't that long to wait.

No I'm too scared to try anything other than st tropez! It's the best!! I've got this 1hr tan by st tropez. U slap it on, wait for 1-3 hours depending on how deep u want the tan the wash it off. Saves wearing it overnight and making the sheets brown! X
