scars
As many of you know I had my BA 2 weeks ago tomorrow - wow the time has flown by!
I had a shower there and removed my medipore tape. One of my scars is healing really well and the other one feels quite hard at the bottom. Is this normal?? its a little bumpy and feels like hard skin...
freaking out!! xx

Re: scars
Tink said it all really... Its just scar tissue babe. It'll go flat over time as you massage them when you get the all clear to break the scar tissue down.
Re: scars
Im worried because I don't go back to my surgeon until week 11... do you usually start massaging before this? xx

Re: scars
Thanks girls... No pain at all :) one just looks better than the other but i suppose this is normal considering its two different operations! Hopefully it settles down soon! :-) is it normal for one to be slightly scabbed? xxx

Re: scars
Hey g. My left scar is looking way better than the right, my nurse said it's because there's increased blood flow in the left, but it's totally normal to heal at different rates. My post booklet and the nurse both say week 4 to start massage and any balms or oils.

Re: scars
Interesting post as my left is better than right! My left scar is hardly visible but the right feels lumpy and bumpy! Glad I'm not alone xx
