Hey

Finally after a few years fighting I have my PIP R&R tomorrow, very excited and nervous!!!

YET....I have a cold!!! not a full blown flu , just a blocked nose / keep sneezing. Ive held it at bay with cold and flu tablets a berroca, but will this effect my op?

Worried they wont do it if I have a snuffy nose!

Or if i lie and say I havent got a stuffy nose the GA will go wrong!

Any thoughts?

I had my BA 18 days ago with an awfull cough and cold. As long as your temp is normal and you don't have an infection they will go ahead with your op! Keep drinking the honey and lemon, and DON'T take any other medication xx it's really common to get a cold just before surgery xx good luck Huni xx

Don't take any medication lovely!

Get some honey and fresh lemons and make a nice hot honey and lemon drink (spoon full of honey and freshly squeezed half a lemon) that will naturally dose you up on the vitamin C needed when you have a cold babe and the honey has all these vitamins in it: B6, thiamin, niacin, riboflavin, pantothenic acid.

Having a cold will not stop your surgery babe

As long as you have no infection and no obstruction to your breathing you should be OK babe. Keep warm and plenty of 'natural' vitamin C lovely.

Good luck for tomorrow babe! You didn't add your name to the calendar or I would have added you to the good luck thread!

I'll add you now though lovely and enjoy the special day you have ahead of you and getting those nasty PIPs out of your body. Xx

DEFINITELY don't take any more medication babe. Get your vitamins naturally, they'll be far better for you. Keep warm and DON'T stress!

As long as your airways are clear then you'll be fine hun. But if they are obstructed then there would be a possibility that your surgery could be postponed.

But think positive hun! Stay warm and get those vitamins down ya! And hopefully you'll be just fine. Xx
