1st post op check tomorrow...
hi so i have my first post op check tomorrow and hoping all is gd
im so worried about getting my stitches out but. there is alot of dressing over them thats VERY sticky and i think its going to tug my skin when its coming off :( also whats it like getting the stitches out ive only ever had disolvable ones or staples

I really wouldn't worry about tomorrow sweetie. Of all your BA journey this really is the easiest part.
The nurses are well aware that your skin will be sensitive to the dressings and will take their time to carefully remove them.
You don't even feel the stitches coming out either. It's all over and done with in about 15 minutes from walking in the nurses door, having a chat, getting undressed, stitches done and out the door.
There's nothing to to it babe. Xx
