Freaking Out :(
So, I have pretty much left my boobs alone (which is an amazing thing for me as I usually poke and prod at anything I have) and finally got all my dressing off, can now start massaging scars etc. Upon doing that last night I found I could feel on the crease, the bottom of my implant I am now completely panicking thinking they are bottoming out! I can only really feel it on my left as my right is still higher The scar is above the crease also, always has been. Should you be able to feel the edge of the implant on the crease? I feel sick and am going
I think I have went from 'oh my god they are rupturing' on my 4th day because bubbles were popping and things were swishing about.... to 'I have an internal bleed' because they were hot and swollen and now to 'holly crap they are falling down and I am going to have big feet if they keep going south'

try not worry!
Hi,
I am sure I've read a post somewhere on here where Cookie has said that its normal to be able to feel the bottom of the implant. Cookie or one of the other mods will probably be better to advise you & when you think of it breast tissue or muscle only really covers the top 2 thirds of the implant.
So pretty sure you,ve got nothing to worry about Big Hugs X

Re: Freaking Out :(
It's absolutely normal to be able to feel your implant at the bottom of your breast lovely
I've been known to sit and poke mine in and out using it as a stress reliever before now! Lol.
Even if you have partials, remember that the implant is only held by muscle at the top of the breast, the bottom of the implant is not covered. (Hence the term partials = partially covered) xx

Re: Freaking Out :(
My Hubby said he could feel mine, he wasn't prodding about either, so don't worry Hun, I actually didn't worry about it at all. And I have the bubbling down one side too xxxx I had muscular pre op breasts and I keep feeling little lumps etc, that are then disappearing the nxt day! Anyone else have that by the way?

Re: Freaking Out :(
Ok, sorry I am just really freaking out. When I lean back and look in the mirror, my crease is the bottom of the implant which means I can see it. Obviously once they fully drop I won't see it unless I lift up my breast, but was just worried this was all wrong! I am quite slim so not sure if I can see and feel the implant more because of it? Also has anyway had sore ribs after a BA? My right side, below implants, 1 rib is so blooming sore. Not sure what I've done!

Re: Freaking Out :(
Yeah my ribs hurt early days post op, just whip out the ice packs! And yeah my scars were visible too til they dropped, now they've completely in the crease Hun. Worrying fretting and driving yourself crazy with questions are all part if the healing process!!ha x

Re: Freaking Out :(
You've nothing at all to worry about lovely. Everything you're describing is very normal. Rib pain is something most of us get hun and it can be very sore, worsened I think from sleeping propped up too.
The sooner you're getting yourself back to normally (side sleeping flat and walking without hunching) the sooner this does resolve itself. Nothing at all to worry about though hun. It does settle down. Xx

Re: Freaking Out :(
torizia - you will be on it consantly right before you op - trust me! I was going mad researching everything and trying to keep busy because I couldn't sleep! It helps to search for things on here and realise everything you are feeling and going through is totally normal - don't know what I would do without the search bar at the top
Thanks :) they are still high, don't have much lower pole yet xx

I am a worrier yes, I freak out at everything. I drive my kids mad because I always think they have a disease when they have a cold, or they have broken a bone when they have just hurt themselves.
