Fitting?
Morning ladies,
I am just wondering so it's 6 weeks tomorrow since my op and I was told I only have to wear sports bras for 6 weeks so I thought should I go have a fitting today (also my bras are getting really loose shrinking boobs). My post op check with the nurse was meant to be next week but I had to move it to 11th August and I don't see my surgeon until 24th September!
Advice? also best places to get a fitting?
xx

Re: Fitting?
Hi hun I personally think M&S are very good but we all have our own personal preferences. Cant believe your at 6 weeks already ! I am sure your boobs are not shrinking, if you think about it implants themselves cannot shrink and we have all told you that they look great because they do! So get yourself off to town and buy a lovely bra or 2 and see how differently you feel. Letbus know how you get on xx

Re: Fitting?
The best places seem to be a specialist department store for underwear, I can't recommend bravissimo enough, al they do is bras they have specialist fitting rooms (you sometimes have to make an appointment). Also many people seem to use debenhams. I've not really heard any good about M&S bra fitters, they usually upset people lol but its good to read they are better now 2nd time lucky
Re: Fitting?
The one in Colchester is nt too bad Misf1 lol. If anyone had upset me I prob would have poked their eyes out We dont have a Bravissimo here but I watched their video and that woman on there was really good. xx

Re: Fitting?
I haven't been fitted post ba, but before I always used to go to Ann Summers. They make you feel at ease x
Re: Fitting?
Well I have been fitted first in BHS who said I am 32DD/E then she wasn't v helpful didn't bring me anything to try on and just went by this fitting chart and didn't really look at my cup size properly etc..
So then I went to John Lewis and she said I am a 30FF and brought me this well comfy bra to try and she said it fitted perfectly (which it did) felt so snug and the back size wasn't too tight which I thought it might.
All these years been wearing a 34?? wtf.
But anyway I haven't got any bras to wear still because hardly anywhere does my flipping size and that one in John lewis was £31.00!!!
I am still down though just at the fact even though they are measured as that..I still will have to buy padded push up bras to get a good cleavage I am seriously considering saving up for another op!

Re: Fitting?
Don't get down hun 6 weeks is still early! I felt really down about the size of mine and even worked out financially how I can have a re-op in 4 years BUT at almost 3 months I'm much happier. I think it makes a huge change to your perception as they drop and fluff into more real looking boobs with a too good to be true look about them! Yours do look fab hun!
At least you have the choice to dress them up or down... You've already seen how difficult it is to get small backed bra's for by boobs ... So imagine that being worse!!!
On the subject, do Bravissimo have a starting size? I heard they're for bigger and I'm guessing I'm a 32D/DD... I'd hate to go in and have them tell me my fake boobs are still too small for them hahhaa. X

Re: Fitting?
My options locally are Debenhams, M&S and Ann Summers. I haven't been to Ann Summers for a fitting since I'm not ready to wear wired bras, I'm not at all impressed with the M&S service. Debenhams is brilliant though, great service and has a big selection xxx

Re: Fitting?
I've been figuring out how much I could save for a re-op too Alice, I hope I feel better in a few months.
I am wondering whether I am just being unrealistic..I keep comparing myself to other girls who have fake boobs and just think...why are theirs so together and cleavagey (sorry not a word I know) and mine are separate and feel small. It's embarrassing to say oh I am a 30FF because I bet people will be like yeah right!
How long does it take for boobs to really soften? Will they get soft so I can't feel the implant?

Re: Fitting?
Just feeling as though why did I bother spending nearly 4 grand on them when they don't feel or look very big..and I will still have to buy padded, gel, push up bras to get a cleavage. So fed up

Re: Fitting?
I think your boobs look great hun. Granted they don't look big compared to some other avi's of the same size but i think that could have something to do with the camera angles and bra's people are wearing.

You're not moaning hun, you've paid a lot of money and need to be happy. I'm already questioning the size of mine and i'm not having them done for another month lol.

Re: Fitting?
I just wish I didn't have to go buy padded push up bras to make them look like they are any different. It seems like I have just lost all fullness from the top. They don't look any different in my clothes either. I wish I could just be happy with them.
