Sunbeds Empty Sunbeds

Post by EmmaArden 12th July 2012, 12:29 pm

I spoke to my clinic and they said it was fine to use the sunbeds 6 weeks after. So I have just popped on them for 6 mins for the first time but I didn't think it was right to go on them. Had a quick check on here and people are saying to protect your scars... Which I didn't do nope I don't think 6 mins will do much harm but what can I cover them up with? Or do I not need to?
Thanks girls x Hug

I haven't used the sunbed yet but have been told that when I do I should use some of the steri-strip tape they gave me at the hospital xx

Definately cover your scars lovely, they're prone to pigmentation (going brown) if they're exposed to the sun/sunbeds and I'd also advise you be careful of your breasts too, with the skin being so newly stretched it'll be quite sensitive and could burn lovely, so it may be worth keepin' 'em covered for just a little while longer.

You can used plasters to cover your scars, a small dressing with a micropore strip on top, anything like that really that's going to shield and protect your scars. xx
