You can ask memebers to see their pics, if you look at their avatar picture, just underneath it will tell you what their picture status is. If they have a status like yours "Anyone can ask to see my pictures" then you can ask. It's not a matter of respect, it's a matter of keeping our members as safe as possible. As soon as someone becomes active then they caan ask those people who only share with active members. Think of it as a getting to know you period rather than a penalty against you.
