3 days late!!!!!!

hi girls, well as you all know im having ba in 10days argggg, i just keep thinking something is going to happen and i wont be able to have my :tit:. At the weekend my baby was in the hospital, she is home now.
Also i have just looked at my calender and noticed im 3 days late for my period, i boubt very much im pregnant as hubby has had the snip. Omg that could be the worst thing that could happen to me, i already have 4 kids.
Im not sure if it is just the stress of waiting to have ba and expecting something to go wrong.
I want this sooo much and now im scared and im never usually late, i am going for my pre op today, and i have never wanted to start my period sooo much.
im now thinking should i buy a test b4 i go to my pre-op???? but i think im scared of what it might say arrrrrgggggghhhh heeeelllpppp mmmeeee!!!

I think its most probably stress hun as mine didnt come once when i was stressing about something, maybe buy one of those early predictors to be sure or to put ur mind at rest? Im sure it'll be negative x

thanks hun, i just keep thinking how easily all of this could come to an end :pale: all of my hopes out of the window!
Any test will detect it as you only need to be a day late with most tests now, im just scared cos i have bought 4 tests in my lifetime and everyone has been possitive. will let you know what happens huni, hopefully i will start b4 then haha

Oh really, i dont know about that stuff never used one, i can understand why you're scared though hun, is it likely if your hubbys had the snip? Maybe they do a pregnancy test at your pre op? x

I think its stress too...when i'm anticipating something or nervous about something i find I don't sleep as heavily, i get constipated and I my period seems to be hanging in the air too waiting for me to relax.

Is having 'the snip' 100%? I would have thought so but check just in case to put your mind at rest xx

its 99.2% sooo rare if i am, my sister is at the shops now and is going to buy a test for me, will prob be later this afternoon so i will let you know. Me and pregnacy tests dont mix sooo im hoping i start b4 she gets here.(i can only hope)

It's probably down to stress but i know how you feel i've only every taken 7, 6 i was pregnant and the 7th i took just after my BA as i was late, and phew it was neg. I'm sure everything will be fine

Hiya Amanda, im sure its stress hun! Its proven that being under a lot of presure or stress can delay ovulation and therefore your period. My hubby has had the snip too and it still worries me sometimes!

fhewwww i have done the test come back negitive so im happy now, thank goodness i can go to my pre-op with a clear head Hysterical

i could shout off the roof tops im soooo happy

Fab news Amanda, you must be sooo relieved!

Beautybyzara, you usually have your pre-op 4-6 weeks before your op date. Its with the nurse and they check ya blood pressure etc and take a medical history of anything that might affect ya op. You have to have swabs done to check for MRSA if you have stayd overnight in hospital within 6 months of ya op.
All very straight forward and nothing to worry about hun x

I didnt have one hun, they did all that stuff before my op like weighing, bp etc x

i only had my pre-op yesterday as i only booked a few weeks ago, and wanted the earliest possible date sooo they had to squeeze my pre-op appointment in lol.
Im not sure if you all want to know this but i started my period this morning soooo i feel even more relieved today.
thanks again girlies for getting me through yesterday i think i would have had a nervous breakdown without you all.
