BA Booked 2nd June!!! Help!

Hi Girls,
I had my consultation today and it went really well. so well I booked my BA. 2nd June!
I cant wait!!! BUT....I want to go from a 34 A (not filling a A cup bra now!!!) to a D/DD he gave me a 460cc implant, which i do like the size of on me......(...I think...)
but he advised me that it might cause a ripple.
now im confued because why would he hand me an implant size that may ripple??
im a bit scared.
im 5ft 5 just inder 9 stone size 8.
has anyone has this size implant?? can anyone offer any advice???

Congrats on booking! Did he ask you what size you wanted to be i.e a DD? If you said you wanted to be a DD thats maybe why he gave you that but was just warning you that you may ripple with them starting so small and having a big implant x

If you haven't got much tissue to start off with and want to go large then rippling may happen. I think he's just making sure that you are aware of the risk of going so big from a smaller start size.
You might be better off going for a smaller size implant? Might not be the size that you want to be but you will end up bigger no matter what and have less chance of rippling.

congratulations on booking zoe,
i'm almost same stats as you. 5ft 2in, 9st, size 8/10,34aa/aaa i had 240 high profile overs and i'm now filling 34c/d bras depending on style.
its hard to judge really whats best as your surgeon is suggesting almost double the size implant for you than what i had when our stats are pretty similar, i would go with what he says but maybe query why hes suggesting a size that may ripple....i think choosing the implant size is the hardest part, i just went with what my PS thought was right.

thank you for your replies.
he asked me what size i woukd like to be and handed me the 460.
i do have a small frame but i use to have a nice C cup. but they "deflated" to a lowly A.
when he suggested the 460cc i was excited but im worried about the rippling.

On a small frame, implants measure bigger, Nat has 410s and is a size 8 small frame and is in a 32ff now so you will be somewhere around that mark with 460s easily, i have 275s and measurea 32D. I would ask him how big you can go to fill out the skin but without rippling x

Hi hon, I was a 34A pre op (but went up to a 36D when pregnant/breastfeeding). I had to have unders as I had little breast tissue. I really wanted 460cc but my surgeon said no, it was too big an implant and she gave me 410cc HP unders. I'm currently a 34DD (had my op in January). Hope this helps.

I think i am going to ask about 410s.
I dont want to pay all this money and end up with rippling!
Just to have a chest is all i want, and I think with my small frame 410s will give me and nice healthy cup size!
Im going to call them in the morning!
Im soooooo excited!!! i was so gutted last week, i put on my Bra and my boobs dont fill it!! im under an A cup!

Good idea hun, its not worth the extra cc's if you have rippling, you will defiantely have a good size with 410s x

has anyone doe the Rice test?? im thinking of doing it but cant figure out how much rice iwould need creat my 410cc implant....any ideas...??

I did it hon and I still have my ONE boob I made ha ha. I think I used 410grams of uncooked rice. I can show you pics of 410cc HP unders if you want.

Hiya Hun congrats on booking! like the other ladies have said your ps will just want to make sure you are aware of the risks, i think if your worried go for a implant a little smaller, i had 250 overs and went from a 34a (although since been measured realised im a 32 back) to 32DD.
You will probs measure around an e/f with that size implant but remember implants do measure bigger than they look.

you girls are so helpful. I think im going to go for the 410. I really dont want them to look to big on my frame plus with the threat of rippling!

Hey hun, I was 32A, had 265cc implants and I am now 32D. That's smaller than 34D or DD but still it's a significant increase considering that I had a relatively small implant. So you can definitely achieve your desired size with a bit less than 460 if you are worried about rippling. However, bear in mind that implanted breasts do look a bit smaller than they measure and that's probably why your surgeon suggested the 460. Just talk to him again and go through all the pros and cons, you may find that a smaller implant will still give you an excellent result without the risk of rippling. Maybe ask him what's the biggest you can have without risking rippling?

congratilations on booking.im having my op soon i am now a small 32 a dont even fill it.i am 7 and half stone.and i am having a 300cc under the muscle.i first got recomended by a different surgeon to have a 190cc or 230cc otherwise i would get rippling.i wasnt happy with that so i went to see someone else and he said the biggest i can go is 300cc.i think u should go and see ur surgeon again and ask him what is the biggest u can go withougt rippling?also go and see another surgeon to get a second opinion would be good.x

I was 32b/34a and I had 340cc implants taking me to 32dd/e. I can feel rippling but can't see it..(yet (thank god!) but i'm sure if i had of gone any bigger you would of been able to see it xx
