Ok, so starting to get a bit anxious, feeling a bit sick.... can't concentrate on work!!! EEEkkk!!

I have been told not to eat 6 hours before op... my admission time is 7.30 tomorrow morning, can I eat what I want tonight?

My consultant couldn't tell me what time my op would be, just in the morning, if i phone the hospital direct, will they be able to tell me?

Wow it's your turn tomorrow dance

My admission time was 8am for morning surgery and i was told no food from midnight and sips of water until 7 am on the day ( didn't have any tho lol!) Also no food includes chewing gum!
The hospital might have his list by now, no harm giving them a call :)
Have you made your mind up on size?

Hey babe. My admission time was 7.30am, I had a Chinese about 9.30pm the night before and they said that was fine. Not too sure if they'll tell you op time babe, when I went in to do admissions I was told I was second on the list. I was and I was in theatre by 9.30am! Was discharged by 4.30 as I was a daycase! U daycase? Good luck with mr m, he is fab, he owns my heart lol! Xxx

Hey... yes I'm a daycase, so hopefully i'll be out by 4.30 too :)

Still not 100% on size, what a nightmare lol! To be fair the 365 and 410 are not that much different, so tomorrow I will make the final decision.

I reckon we will get a chinese tonight :) and then I won't eat tomorrow at all...

Hey babes, my info sheet said if your admission was in the morning, no eating after midnight, and no water within 2 hours of the admission time. Have a nice big dinner then get a good nights rest, and when you wake up have some water, but none after 5.30 if 7.30 is your admission time - take it you'll be up at 5.30am anyway to get ready and get to the hospital etc?

Hi holly,my admission is 7am and i was told no food after 23.45 and no water from 1.45 ! Still not sure if i can clean my teeth before i go !! Hope everything goes well for all 3 of us !! Bet i dont sleep tonight !!xxx

Id be surprised if you manage to eat much tonight - you'll probably (if you anything like me on the nerves side) be really hungry until the chinese is in front of you and then feel like gagging! Myabe something lighter, yoghurt & fruit or something good to keep up your energy.

You're going to go GREAT!! I'd try to eat light VERY nourishing food today, that way it'll be easier on your system not eating tomorrow.I was definitely hungry when I woke up though and wanted soup when I got home - so have some things ready!!

hiya hun my admission time is 7am cant eat anything from 12am and i can have water until 5am ...ive just had a curry for my tea.
