Hi girls

I'm booked for my BA on 26th September and I've then got a spa day at the Aqua Sana at Center Parcs booked for 29th October (just under 5 weeks later). Do you think I'll be able to wear a normal swimming costume or is the whole 'sports bra day and night' thing a really big issue? I know that Shock Absorber do a swimsuit, but I really don't want to spend £40 on something that isn't really very nice!

Also, what kind of state do you think my new boobs will be in by then?! Will they still look all high and stretched or will they look even vaguely normal?!! Post BA swimwear 267328

Also, idk what you plan to do at the spa, but if you're having a massage I'd imagine it would be uncomfortable to lay on your front.....

No, it will just be going into the steam rooms and saunas and stuff. Just an excuse for a bunch of girlies to get away from their families!! I'll ask my ps - hopefully he'll say that it will be OK. If not, I'll have to sit in the cafe and drink champagne all day..... damn!!

Thanks girls. I know what you're all saying is good advice. I was kind of looking forward to the 'Grand Unveiling' in front of my friends!! Post BA swimwear 113752

I'll check with the PS and do as I'm told! You're right AmyD, I'd be gutted if I ruined them for the sake of one day! x

Peapod - I totally understand what you mean - I wanted to do my big unveiling, which is why I purposely made mine at the end of the summer - so they have all winter to heal (and I can whip my body back into shape) before next summer. I can hardly wait.

Good luck!!!!

Do checkwoth your PS - but I was ok to go into pool at 2 weeks post and I have done since (im 6 weeks now). I dont swim but go in water and jacuzzi and Ive been fine - but I did check with my PS first.

You should be OK in normal swimsuit etc - I was advised I could wear underwire bras after a month - but just not all the time...good luck x

Oh, and swimsuit-wise, I just tried all my old non-underwire string bikinis - they used to totally cover my boobs, now they cover only half and look AMAZING! So I'll definitely be wearing those next summer!! Post BA swimwear 899188

Ooh Ali, how exciting! I bought a bikini for holiday this year but accidentally bought a size 12 top instead of size 10. I'm hoping it will fit me beautifully next summer! I also tried on my post surgery sports bras with lots of socks stuffed into them and then played dress up with lots of different kinds of clothes. Can't wait!

Suzyb, I really hope I'm told the same as you. If he says I have to wait for 6 weeks then I'll just have to spend the day relaxing on the water beds with some magazines and books (or a catalogue for some sexy new lingerie!!) and maybe book myself a fish pedicure or something!

Only 2 weeks to wait till the big day....! Post BA swimwear 923101
