Did your ps tell you when to start massaging them hun? At 6 weeks post op i was told to start rubbing in scar cream quite firmly and this breaks down the scar tissue which is the lumpiness you can feel x

Hi hotcoz, me again - i take it that you would have read em-stevo and the oil that her PS recommended above the bio oil that i have been told about despite me also having already bought the bio oil but it was cheap and this sounds superior - she has the website for it but havent gone into that but I think i will purchase so of that and use instead. Interesting awhat nads has to say as well - so great to know this before you need to do it rather than farther down the line.. thanks Nads.

Using a good scar product can certainly help but I was told the massaging and pinching is the key - moisturisers only won't do asmuch, even if they are specifically for scar reductions. My scars are a bit raised to and I am massaging them every day.
