I have noticed some of you girls note high or low profiles(what is this?) should I be asking my surgeon about this or do they decide???
I am having 460 unders and obviously I want them to look amazing xx

Re: Profiles???
profile is how much the implant sticks out, so its projection. you can have all sorts like low, medium, high profile extra high etc.... ring up and ask what type you are having hun. xxx

Re: Profiles???
Sometimes a ps will suggest a profile to fit your chest and breast width, for instance a thin girl with a small breat width would suit a high profile, I have a wide breast width so I was better suited for moderate profile. The moderates tend to give a more natural shape because they don't stick out as much as highs.
You should ask what u r having so ensure you get exactly the look you want. X

Re: Profiles???
I have took pics on my camera but i'm terrible, I haven't got them uploaded yet! I wil do it soon just need 2 find my memory card reader etc!! When u say unders i'm guessin ur havin partial unders 2? I had them as he said that as i'm quite slim up top that if i had overs the implant would b 2 visible! I wasn't really sure about this as although i'm slim im certainy not tiny, just a normal size 8-10 but i'm happy with them so far!! I would def speak 2 ur surgeon again if ur not sure. Who r u goin with? xx

Re: Profiles???
I will be seeing Mr Chantarasak again in september. I actually booked in for 20th dec today
I am same size as you, really thin on the old chest area
I have alot more to ask him this time. Especially about profiles.
I dont know he just said my skin was thin and if I had tem over the muscle I would have a ridge? x

Re: Profiles???
Hey Peggysue,
I'm confused about profiles too. It was something we never discussed at my consultation.
I was wearing a halter maxi dress when I went for my consultation to step out of it easily as he needed to see my stomach as well (also having a tummy tuck at same time).
What he did say was that after surgery I would fill the top of the dress out that I had on better. I thought it looked alright to begin with but pulled the top of the dress forward as if to create more projection and he laughed, but I think he probably means my breast width dimension rather than my projection.
I hope I get to discuss this when he's drawing on me next week. I definitely want more projection than I've got now, otherwise it won't be worth having the op. LOL. x x x
