i have been told by transform not to take any vitamins for 2 weeks before surgery.



I am practically vegan and usually take iron (iron rich water; Spatone from boots) and a multi vit and lots of vit c to boost me and feel weird stopping.



Also, isn't vit c supposed to be a good idea?



I bought arnica too but my nurse told me i shouldnt need it during pre op...



Does anyone else know when i should start taking it? i want to give myself the best chance of healing fast as poss...



is it a week before and a week after surgery?

hey i went with transform i was told no vitimins but to take arnica a week before and after surgery and i belive it helped i had NO bruising x

I went with Transform and they told me Vitamin C & Arnica a week before and a week after. They told me this in consultations then I received a big booklet b4 my op with instructions! xx

Maybe your surgeon doesn't recommend arnica? Not sure, but they all have different ways of doing things. I took it and still had some bruising on my left boob!! Who knows if it works, maybe it lessened the bruisin?! Could u ring ur PC and ask? xx
