How long did you guys wait until you started driving after the operation? I'll be really really stuck without my car if I can't drive - I have the two kids to ferry round Driving after the op? 869500

they usually say after a week you will feel up to driving. Be careful about still having GA in your system too, as it can make some insurance void for a few days after surgery. I would say i would have felt up to it after a week or so x

I drove within the first week, but I don't think I should have because I was really wiped out. I had armpit incision and I could feel the skin pulling when I held onto the wheel and ditto to Jennifer2011 above, I could feel it in my muscles when I tried to turn a corner (but I had unders), so maybe it's easier with overs.

I also drove to my 7 day check up appointment - i felt absolutely fine - i think i could of driven a few days earlier to that. I generally think it depends on person to person and how you recover after the op. I was in hardly an discomfort after my op but i've heard some girls who have been in pain for 2 weeks after. You will be able to tell yourself when your ready hun. x
