lumps after BA?

Im 7 weeks post op, and my right boob started itching near the scar and aching a lot, then last night i felt a hard pea sized lump, its the side of my boob kind of near the armpit...
has any one else had this? or know what it could be?
my b/f says maybe scar tissue that has formed?

My scars were fairly itchy as they healed. I also have a lumpy feeling scar (athough it doesn't look lumpy at all).

I'm really not sure about a lump near your armpit. As I said in your other thread... best to put your mind at rest and see your nurse or surgeon.

Thanksit's kind of above my scar but close to my armpit, its not visable but real noticable to feel.

I would get it checked out for your own peace of mind hun. I can't really help you too much, as my scars are nowhere near my armpits.

From both of your threads sounds like you need a check up with your ps for some piece of mind, i saw my ps at 6 weeks post op x

Hello There,

Im new to this site and had my BA on the 1st April 2009 with The Hospital Group, I was wondering what your surgeon/the group said about your lump, as I have the same thing in both breasts, been to Doctor and been told to wait a few weeks to see if they go down, so it is so worrying, just want to enjoy my new boobies, would be really grateful if you could reply.

they've just told me to wait ... untill my 3 month check up.. which is another month away and it's "probally" normall.. not v good after care.. still not seen my surgeon since.. how r your lumps?? did you have submusmuscular sparky?? xx
