PIP removal in Ireland Empty PIP removal in Ireland

Post by TraceyD 9th May 2011, 10:53 pm

Hi just joined I have to have my PIP implants removed (have them 6 years) as the left one has ruptured and is leaking, was complaining of aches and got checked by my GP nearly 2 years ago but as no lumps were found I just put it down to the nerves around it. I'm getting replacements on May 18th and its Free of Charge. Just wondering are there any other Irish patients out there? And has undergone the op? can they see if the sillicon has spread to your lymph nodes on the ultrasound? Feeling a bit overwhelmed as wasn't expecting it cause they didn't look ruptured. Any thoughts please?
