Surgery date , woohoo
Hi ladies have my appointment with my preferred surgeon a week on Friday (5th November). I havent actually met her personally but Have heard so many good reports about her that She is the one Im going with. (seen one other surgeon and wasnt keen). I know she was voted one of the top ten breast reconstruction surgeons by her peers in the UK and she does ba's privately. I want done before Xmas so although I dont see her till next week I have provisionally booked the op (subject to the app) for 29th November Thats 5 weeks yesterday !!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have been thinking and talking bout this for years and years and 3 weeks ago or something my hubby said ' look if you want it done - get it done, as long as its for you and not me !! ' So in my excitement all this has happened really quick
However I am still experiencing fear, excitement, nerves, AM I doing the right thing putting myself through this and narrowed it down. My hubby said if you were getting it for free would you do it, I SAID YES!!, He then convinced me its the money. IE I get it done and issues happen past the year that I will need a reop and will have to pay blah blah. He said 'Dont worry about money, we miss a holiday - you get a reop if it needs be, Do it because it is something you really want. SO thats it - Im doing it, but Im scared
:cheerlead:
Oh well It will be a long time till next Friday 5th nov
