When does the swelling go down? Empty When does the swelling go down?

Post by Decisions 23rd October 2010, 5:51 am

Hey girls!
So its been a week and a half since my op, my implants are going great but I was just wondering how long it took for the swelling to go down? Mine has gone down considerably but I was wondering how long it took for everyones swelling to go down? I am just hoping that they dont get too much smaller hahaha! I like them the size they are :)
Also because I had under the muscle I have heard that they fluff and get slightly bigger, has anyone had this happen? I think i have boob greed hahaha!

We all heal differently babe. Some ladies hardly have any swelling at all from the get go, some, the swelling wil settle after a week and for others it takes a whooooooole lot longer. It's best to just take your recovery a day at a time hun and don't compare your recovery to that of others. xxx

Mine took about 2 weeks for most of the swelling to go, but about 6 weeks before it was all gone. I wouldn't worry about size yet, yes the swelling will go and they may look like they have shrunk a little, but then you have so much more changes to happen. In a few months they will look different maybe even bigger.
