difference between medium and high profile?

Post by Georgie_797 on 11th August 2010, 3:39 am

Just wondering how different medium profile implants look to high profile implants and if there is any reason you have to have either or is it just down to personal choice??

Thank you :)

Medium profile ones are a little flatter than high profile implants, although they have the same volume of silicone, they just have less of a forward projection. It's entirely your choice hun. I had the option and I chose high profile. I was a little confused as mine are 460cc MHP - (moderate height profile), but the size and style that I chose only comes in 2 profiles and that was the highest.

Have you had a look at some implants at your consultation? I got to handle a few different shapes and sizes, so had a good feel for what i was after.

The profile your surgeon chooses for you is dependent on your body shape hun and what will 'fit' best.

You can read about profiles and their differences HERE hunni. xx

mhp is high profile :) I cant remember what the M stands for but its definitely not moderate or medium. Its somethign else

I had high profile because ive got quite a narrow chest. 29inch.
I still get some side boob even with the high profile, so medium would have been much too wide. Theyd have got in the way

Most women with a narrow frame will have high profiles hun and they don't give a fake look unless the size (CCs) is too big for your frame and puts you out of proportion. (some women prefer this look) xx

Yes they are, you must be very slight babe, our other mod 'Funkygirl' also had her surgery with Mr Liew and she too has extra high profiles and is thrilled with her results, these are the narrowest implants babe used for women of a very petite or slight frame. xx
