Holiday 5 weeks post ba

My husband just booked two weeks away in Spain for my 30th, should be pleased but just worked out I'll only be 5 weeks post ba. I'm not bothered about not swimming, and can even handle wearing sports bra for a week. I'm just worried about much I will have recovered. If I wore a good fitting bikini for a couple of hours a day douing the first week do you think this would be ok? Also the second week I will be 6 weeks post op so does this mean I should be able to start wearing bikini's?

My ps is on holiday at the mo, should I postpone the surgery?

I don't think there will be a problem hun....I should imagine at 5 weeks post-op barring any complications you'll be just fine, recovery wise, you'll be back to normal and your incisions 'should' have closed by then...

You could always ask to make an early appointment with your surgeon to see if they will give you the green light to ditch the sportsbra for good at 5 weeks post op, but if not, I don't think if you're healing well you should have any problem wearing a bikini for a couple of hours a day, just ensure your incisions are well covered and protected from the sun though and you should be OK. xx
