I'm in agony here!! The right side is perfect - can't feel it at all but the left side is in agony! I feel bruise all the way down at the base of my ribs and the incision is stinging like mad. I feel so restricted in the macom. Would it be ok if I took it down a notch to the looser level? I don't want to mess anything up in there but jeeeez it is tight! X

Yeah mine too. I could just about get mine on with the loosest tightening! Im sure it wont do you no harm aslong as you still feel supported. Dont want to go putting too much pressure on them and making them feel even more sore xx

I didn't tighten mine up for ages - probably like 8 days or so!

Yea, don't sit there in pain! Dose yourself up, get a cuppa, and try and relax. Its 2 ops remember, so it's normal for one to feel more sore than the other. And having a cry is fine...blame it on the ga! Hope you're coping ok

Awwwww Lucy I'm still like this, I had my 7 day wound check up today and they said the wound was healing brilliantly and so the bandages were removed and just micropore out over the incisions. I was so shocked at how small the incisions are!!!!!! However, since the removal in in even more pain, maybe because less protection over the incisions!?

My left side was a lot worse than my right too. I also am experiencing severe constant indigestion at the moment which may be due to the medication but I've stopped taking co codomol now and hoping it eases up!!

Not an easy thing this recovery marlarkey but we can get through it!!! Xxx

Ahhhh bless you, give it a few more days and you'll start to feel a bit more normal. Crying is a good stree release and bring stressed doesn't help your healing so get it all out x

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] get some apple cider vinegar. Only need to take one cap full (neat or in cup of water) and it will really help rid your indigestion x
