Mr Mounir....
Hi girls, Ive had my ba last july and theybe bottomed out... saw Mr Mounir at Transform in dec and he agreed and said he'd re op to correct it, but likes to wait a year from original surgery.. been ringing Transform since last week to try and get in to see him to get the ball rolling, finally spoke to a receptionist, but hes no longer there!!! What happens when your surgeon leaves the company? Does another one pick up the pieces, what happens to the aftercare? Really stressing out!!! Any help or advice please, thanks :flowers:

Re: Mr Mounir....
Hi, I was told on another forum hes gone to work for the nhs, and that he'll see his old patients, but I'll ask when I see him tomorrow if he will be back in from time to time, or even if he will be the one who does the re op,

Re: Mr Mounir....
Hi jen 86, how do you know Mr Mounir doesnt do lifts? Mine have gone saggy too, I was only a small 34a pre op, and the right was slightly saggier and emptier than the perkier left. I first saw Miss Hadden who said I needed a mastopexy on the right and went to Mr Mounir for a 2nd opinion, who was reccommended by one of the pcc's , saying he's pretty good at doing crescent lifts, and came in to see him for his opinion, and he said he disagreed with her, and said I had no degree of ptosis, and said he may have to just put in two different sized implants, he'll see at the time.
Mr Mounir was also supposed to place them under the muscle, and placed them over,(both 410) and told me the next morning the muscle was too high (not sure what this means!) and I think this is also a factor as to why mine have bottomed out and are sagging already
I'd gone back in dec last year, and he said they'd bottomed out, but he likes to give it a year after the augmentation, for a couple of reasons, a. if he re ops too soon, they could bottom out again, and I'll have had two ops in a year, and b. to give your body good time to heal from the op in the 1st place.
These past few months have felt like and eternity, its a bit uncomfortable to wear underwire bras, and I still wear my sports bras at night, so they are supported 24-7.
Just from when I went back in dec, I can see from pics that Ive taken from the start to now that theyve sagged, and my nipples are definitely lower than before, so would I qualify for an uplift? I 'm a bit worried now youve said that, if hes not the surgeon for uplifts, then will he talk his way out of it? Sorry to go on a bit, thanks !!

Re: Mr Mounir....
Hi jen86, I ve been today and he says he'l have to do a 'reverse lift', I asked him if he was leaving, and he said he is, and said he'l have to do the op this month! Funny, eh, he said last time he likes to wait a year, and now changing his mind....
Had my pre op and mrsa swabs, have to wait for my admission form to be cleared by head office, and I'l be getting booked in!
He also said that it might not work either
I'l keep you posted to let you know what happens in due course x

Re: Mr Mounir....
Well i'm now booked in, tomorrow! They rang me on tues to confirm. Fingers crossed that it works, Ive been reading up on it on the internet, it says its likely to happen again, but what else can I do? I cant leave them the way they are, I cant wear any low cut tops, and its been getting me down ever since it happened (quite early on). Got to give it a go xx

Hi girls, I've had the revision surgery, feeling a bit sore at the mo!! Hes gone and changed the profile of the implants to high to moderate without my consent, can he do this? They look like blokes pecs at the min, cant stop getting upset when I look at em

Re: Mr Mounir....
I can't comment on if he is allowed to change the profile etc without your consent but I would be surprised if they can - I know the form I signed he wrote on there the implant I chose before I had surgery.
What is bottoming out please and how do you know if you have it?
Regarding the muscle - I was told that my pec muscle is too high and developed to go under the muscle (I had enough tissue for overs anyway) and that if they went under then the implant would sit too high and my muscle would probably distort it.

Re: Mr Mounir....
Hi aurora1979, I was told exactly the same as you, that my muscle was too high and the had to put them over, but I had no breast tissue in the 1st place, this was on my 1st ba. Bottoming out is when the implant starts to slip down, the nipple sits high on the implant, the scars move up and sit underneath at the bottom of the implant and not in the crease. Theres usually no upper pole and all the implant is at the bottom, and its visible they are sitting too low on the chest. Its usually caused by one or both things, the surgeon over-dissects the pocket, and/or the weight of the implant. Luckily I was with transform and they did the reop for free, which it must have meant the surgeon thought he'd played a responsible role in the cause.
On the day he was drawing on me and showing me how much skin he would have to cut away to bring the implant back up into place, and then suggested that if I wanted to I could downsize, as this may help the bottoming out from not re occurring again. I wasnt aware that I could have a new set of implants, so we came to the agreement that if my implants wouldnt fit into place and it was too tight, to put 380 in instead. NO discussion was made about profile, or that I would need to change profile either, I'm quite upset by this, although I dont want to sound like I'm being ungrateful or fussy, but this is not what I'd paid for in the 1st place!! Ive gotten loads of bras, plenty of them not even worn as I was saving them for after the re op, and now theyre all too big! Bloody gr8
Sorry for the rant again!!
