Re: bottoming out?
Hi katyelf
I have bottomed out, and its just a bit like it sounds, the implant is all at the bottom and the implant has dropped too much, its caused by either or both things, the surgeon over-dissects the pocket (this is when you get bottoming out early on) , and the weight of the implant. The nipple sits high on your boobs and the scar moves up and doesnt sit in the crease. When you wear push up/balconette bras you get the 'shelf look', and they have no upper pole fullness. It happened to both of my boobs, cause apparently it can just happen to one!
I had them rectified on sat, as if you do decide you would like them correcting, it more surgery

Re: bottoming out?
Hi again, thanks, not too sure...... I had the implants changed for smaller ones, but the surgeon changed the profile without my consent, I had 410 hp overs, hes changed them for 390 mods, they look like blokes pecs! Really not liking them at the mo, hoping they change for the better, feeling quite down at the mo xx

Re: bottoming out?
I hope my implants are going to be too heavy. I'm having 520cc's. So many worries x

Hi hlt67, wow, they sound a good size!!, Are you having them partially under, and what profile? Whats your desired size you'd like to be?

Re: bottoming out?
Interesting, I think I have bottomed out as all my fullness is at the bottom and my nipples sit high but then my surgeon told me I have high nipples and that my implants would sit low as my boobs are naturally bottom heavy. I know I was borderline uplift but I didn't want an uplift before I have had children. That said my incisions are in the crease.
My boobs are a bit lower than I expected but as I was warned mine may do this I haven't been worried about it and I am happy with how they look, they look very natural even though they are big.

I'm worrying about this now as I'm having 520cc implants so I guess they're going to be heavy.
Aurora did you put any new pics on your picturetrail? xx

Re: bottoming out?
I didn't mean to worry you honey, I am just wondering if it is dependant on expectations being set - I was warned mine would be low because my natural breast tissue sits low, they don't look saggy because of the implant size. My nipple was in-line with the crease of my breast when you looked from the side. He warned me I was bordeline up lift.
I have been having major issues with picturetrail but I have been taking pics weekly still, I will try my best to get them up this weekend.
Oh and on the bit about nipples sitting high, my OH thinks it is much nicer to see high nipples than low nipples.

Re: bottoming out?
lol don't worry about worrying me Aurora. I'll worry about anything I read. 15 days can't come quick enough to be honest.
My nipples aren't low and they sit above the crease, just looked lol. It's nearly two months since you had your BA, time flies xx
