Hi, I was wondering if anyone else had experienced similar problems. After my breast augmentation I had a bad haematoma in my right breast, ever since it has never felt as part of my body and feels very uncomfortable when I lay on my tummy and if I wear underwired bras . It has been nine months since my op and im starting to wondering if it will ever settle and feel as good as the left one. Can anyone help me please.

Hi, thanks for responding I would feel ok about it being uncomfortable if they both felt the same but the right one is so much worse than the left and feels a little heavier if anything but not sure if im imaging that, Im hoping to get in touch with my surgeon to check it all is ok.

Does that breast feel harder than the other? Sorry to hear its not comfortable. You should consult your ps like FB said, you can always post to one of our surgeons on the board for advice x

Hi thanks for responding I have now asked James your surgeon on the board and just waiting for his response. I do feel a little crazy as they both look and feel the same with no sign of hardening. But to make me feel more comfortable I have now resulted to wearing the big support bra they gave me at the hospital. I do hope it settles down soon.

So sorry to hear your having problems, i too suffered a huge haematoma on my right breast after my first op in Dec 08 and then a smaller one on the same breast after my 2nd op in Nov 09

I would definately say this breast feels alot different to the left now despite looking similar, i have lost feeling to touch but it feels uncomfortable at times inside if you know what i mean, my left one is like a natural one as though it's always been there but with righty i am very much aware it needs more care taken with it or it aches and just doesn't feel right. It also feels the heavier one to me too but then again it does have a larger implant due to the damage the first haematoma caused with tissue loss etc. I got a deep implant infection after that and I lost the implant because of it too.

It's such a shame things are still not right for you after 9 months, do speak with your surgeon though as it's not fair for you to worry like this without some sort of explanation.

Thinking of you x x
