Bad boob job - but now they're better?
Hi everyone
I'm a writer at a glossy women's weekly magazine called Reveal, and I'm currently working on a report about bad boob jobs, following a report suggesting the number of women suffering botched BA surgery has shot up by 30% in a year.
I understand that the very fact you're using this forum is a sign you've carefully researched your surgery options, and hopefully most of you are delighted with the results, but if you have had a bad experience then please get in touch.
We need to speak to a couple of women in their 20/30s who are happy to have pictures of themselves and their surgery printed - and we would be able to pay you a fee for your story.
Perhaps you came across a dodgy surgeon abroad, for example, but have had successful corrective surgery since? Or you might have a cautionary tale about cut-price deals that you want to share with other women about to have a BA...
To be clear - we're not trying to slate surgery in general, just to reiterate how important it is to do your research, and will be recommending sites (such as yours) where you can share tips and experiences, read reviews of surgeons etc.
I've got a really urgent deadline for this, so if you think you can help, please email me at rachel.cocker@natmags.co.uk
Thanks for reading

Re: Bad boob job - but now they're better?
I agree your 'glossy' magazine should print a story about the positives of breast augmentation. However your use of the words 'botched', 'bad boob jobs' 'dodgy surgeon' already implies what type of sensationalised and negative article will be written.
The report you mention states one reason for the increase in reported complications is due to an increase in the number of procedures undertaken - its called maths.
