Tuberous breasts-12 months post-op still not right
Hi,
I had Tuberous Breast Syndrome prior to my BA. I underwent my BA with Dr Sleiter at Harley medical.
I had a new lower crease made, and had 390cc unders.
I am now 12 months post-op, and they still haven't blended in. I have two creases on each breast (double bubble?) It's like my old tuberous breasts are just sitting on top of the implants.
Should I be entitled to a re-op to correct this?
Please advise, I'm dreading my surgeon not agreeing to a re-op, which I desperately want. I look more a freak now than I did with my old tubes!
Thank you in advance,

Hi tanyajade,
This doesn't sound right hun.
I think they should sort it free of charge, go back sweet.
Obviously i can't tell without seeing pictures, but it doesn't sound right...
Best of luck darling, If it is double bubble, the girls on this site seem to have had re-ops with no problems to correct it.

Hi. Sorry not to get back to you before your appointment to see your surgeon. Tuberous breasts are difficult sometimes to correct. It may be however that the gland in your breast is still stuck to the underlying muscle, this can give the double bubble effect that you describe. Sometimes its just the skin deficiency or tightness in the lower half of the breast hasn't stretched enough yet - I am often amazed at the different times this takes in different patients. Some stretch really quickly and some very slowly. Please let me know how you got on .
