Health issues with breast implants Empty Health issues with breast implants

As soon as I had breast implants I started to get strange things happening to my body, unusual hair loss, strange taste in mouth, easy bruising, lethargy, painful joints, etc. I had them removed without replacement and things improved quickly. The surgeon who removed them said he'd removed implants from about half a dozen patients over 25 yrs as a plastic surgeon for the same reasons. Have you seen a lot of patients whose bodies simply don't seem to like implants? How common/rare do you think this situation is? I don't think the implants were ruptured as I saw them after the operation, and yet I felt utterly poisioned all the time they were inside me.

Hi flossy, I am very interested in your post . I had my boob job on 26/4/11. ( also had allergan silicone) after the initial op things started 2 improve and then a week later i was rushed to hospital with an parital collapsed lung from the op. Anyway after spending a night in hospital. Came home again and was improving and then a week later symptons returned. This time was not hospitalised becasue symptons were not as bad. My boobs and scars are healing well. and they look great. But I dont feel well in myself. I have had constant sckness and diarohea, feel weak and lethargic and have a tingling and tight sensation in my lips, face and head. My doc said this is aniety and I admit it does go away and come back. I am so afraid. Were you ever happy with the implants and how soon did you have them removed? would be grateful for some feedback thanks shelley

Hi Flossy,

How do your boobs look with having had the implants taken out? Were they in for very long?

Cheers
