in need of a hug!
Im still hanging in there girls! started this whole process over 2 years ago and still not finished off :( I finished having my expanders expanded in February, saw the surgeon in april to get me back on the list to have them changed, was told then it would be the end of summer ish! so I've called to ask how much longer its going to be, they said it could be in the new year! im sooo fed up of waiting around, im get lots of pain from my expanders (purely because hes put ones in too small and they've been overstretched and its like you've given up breastfeeding) I just want this over with and my life back now!! plus had some bad news recently about my uncle (terminal cancer) so in desperate need of some hugs xxx

Ahh poor you :( Can't say I know too much about expanders, but I know how frustrating it can be when you have your heart set on something and you're left waiting for an update. Big hugs xxx

Re: in need of a hug!
lol basically the expanders is like a balloon, they have little ports which they inject salt water into to increase the boob size, because I had a 2 size difference, because I have a twisted skeleton meaning my right side had no support for my boobs meant I had no boobs, so have had to have expanders to get the boobs even before they put proper implants in, but because hes put ones in too small they've been overstretched and its like having a baseball ball on your chest! its so hard and ridged, and hurts if its knocked, just had enough now! xx

Re: in need of a hug!
ive already told them its really uncomfortable, I was just told its got to settle down, which is understandable I know theres a "settling in" period but it can't move anywhere if that makes sense, its just plonked right there lol, I don't have any trouble from my other side which hasn't been fully filled or overfilled, just the overstretched side. guess im just feeling emotional at the moment as was expecting to hear about my final surgery around now, and to be told I may have to wait another 5 months its just taken its toll now. I don't think I can even exercise the 18week waiting list rule either as ive already had surgery. And thank you - its a shock, we are all devastated. x

Re: in need of a hug!
Oh darlin' I can't even begin to imagine how hard this all must be for you. Hearing about your poor uncles condition has probably heightened all the feelings about your boobs that you're going through as well hasn't it babe.
I think when you hear of someone close having a life threatening condition it does make you reflect upon your own life and with you going through all this with the expanders its totally understandable that you would just want this all to be over
Hopefully Monday will get you another step closer to sorting your boobs babe and about your uncle babe... I'm so, so sorry hun. I'm sure though that you'll cherish the time you have together
