2 weeks post op- is this normal??????
Hey ladies
I'm 2weeks post op now and have just had dressings off and stitches cut yesterday...so upon examining my boobs properly today ive found that the right is lower then my left and also seems to be a little smaller.
I'm a bit worried as I doubt I'd fluff and drop in 2 weeks??? or is this possible?? has it happened to anyone else??
Getting really concerned now, any help is much appreciated

It sounds perfectly normal to me lovely, they will recover at different rates for sure and one side could have more swelling than the other etc, our boobs are seperate and each one will react differently to the operation and result in differences at first, there really is no need for you to worry about this i promise.
It can be months before you see the end result so try and be patient and keep calm and soon they will begin to be more alike.
Congratulations on your new boobies, happy healing

Hiya MissT
As SS has said, there's no need to worry babes-what you have described is all to be expected in the early stages post-OP.

Perfectly normal hunni, as SS said treat each breast as a seperate operation and each breast will heal in it's own time, possibly one quicker than the other.
My left dropped quicker than my right and didn't even up till 12 weeks post-op babe. xx

Hi hun,all is normal, its quite usual to heal and drop at different rates and then you find the other has caught up and matches. Its interesting watching the changes from day to day.The first thing i used to do when i got up was look in the mirror at my boobies to see what had happened overnight x

It sounds perfectly normal hun, they do change a lot over time and one can heal differently to the other.

Everything sounds fine hun, you are very early in your recovery so many more changes to come I'm sure, don't worry they just need time to catch up with one another

Yep I'm another 2 week post opper and my left is lower (& bigger
) than my right. Trying not to over scrutinise or worry about it tho. I too can't wait for the end of the healing process to see my final final result!
