Re-op done
Hi girls, Well after very short notice i had my re-op done on Tuesday morning, was supposed to be fixing bottoming out/scar revision & replacing my right implant with a larger one to even up the size. I travelled to Stirling the previous day & stayed in a hotel with my hubby & 2 youngest kids (as it was to short notice to arrange sitters) so arrived 20 mins early & left outside to wait!! Eventually got in via a cleaner then ended up letting other people in (including the receptionist!) Got shown to my room at 8.30 then the 1st nurse (who was a lovely lady) came in & took down the essentials, identity bracelets etc, surgeon came in & decided that my boobs looked fine!! Kind of tutted at me & said they were better than my pre-op boobs (obviously!) Then after reducing me to tears (because i have old lady stretchy skin)!! i agreed & said i trusted his thoughts so to do what he thought best! Went thru to get my canula/anisthetic & had the anisathist (sorry cant spell that!) was getting annoyed with me for having a tattoo on my hand & him not finding a vein!? Grr then I woke up lol, sat for a few hours a bit groggy as to be expected then another couple of hours nobody so eventually i got really miffed & got up & looked for a nurse! found one & asked for a glass of water & was snapped at!! So back to my room I went like a naughty child & waited another 40mins for water & said can i go home now as im feeling fine (Didnt want to stay there any longer) So the nurse phoned my surgeon who was happy to let me go as he remembered me being bright & bushy tailed the last op, then to my disbelief as i could actually hear the conversation with this nurse & my anisathist saying how i had nobody to collect me & i was driving home (load of rubbish I cant even drive!!& i was only going to a hotel nearby with my hubby collecting me!) I was by now livid & when she came in & said the surgeon said no you have to stay i knew she was lying!! So I said fine id like to sign myself out please! so i did & every piece of paper i was given was slammed down in front of me & was told if i had any problems that night NOT to contact them!! & she shook her head at me!! Shocking! I am so angry about it all.. sorry girls rant over!

Re: Re-op done
Im doing great thanks hon, bit tender but all in all im enjoying the rest & my hubby tending to me. Im back to Glasgow on Tuesday for a dressing change so im going to take the time to write up a letter as i feel none of us girls should have to feel like this. We pay a lot of money & feel nervous enough without the added stress & my goodness what a difference it made to me personally when i arrived at hospital & had such a lovely nurse who made me feel quite calm. I have a lot of tattoo's & i felt "labeled" the minute i walked into the hospital which shouldnt be the case as i am a nice normal person. x

OMG thats terrible, I'm so sorry you were treated like this, it's true we are already going through the op and everything that goes with it, we should not have to endure added stress
I would definately get a complaint in hun, hope your okay apart from this, rest up and happy healing

Re: Re-op done
Thanks girls, im doing great & their treatment bothered me as far as the hospital door! I dont dwell, but yes i will say something, cant wait to see if we've made the right decision without the replaced implant! I think even though they are swollen they look smaller so maybe he has reduced my "perfect booby" to the size of the right booby, time will tell, take care girls xxx

I'm shocked and appalled by how your were treated Kelsall! I really hope you do complain hun, no-one should be treated in that way and they really shouldn't expect to get away with that.
Pleased it's all over for you though sweetness and wishing you a speedy recovery hun. Rest up for now and hopefully this time, you get the boobs of your dreams!

OH MY GOD! Thats shocking, how dare they treat you like that. Ive not booked a BA yet, but ive had 2 consultations with Transform and both were bad experiences, I found them very unproffesional. I even saw Dr Kuna who u went with, im defo not gonna go with them!!! Hope your OK tho and its all sorted for you xxx

Re: Re-op done
What an awful way to have been treated. Kuna is Transform isn't he? I'm sure I've heard it said before that his "bedside manner" is less than perfect.
On the bright side at least you got your reop and hopefully things will be fixed. Keep in touch lovely xxx

Hi, Sorry to hear about your experience, it's a terrible way to treat a patient, really shocking actually. Hope at least the op was successful. x
