Confused/stressed please help!! Empty Confused/stressed please help!!

Post by kettlel 8th July 2010, 8:12 pm

Hi ladies

I'm new here so let me introduce myself. I'm 31, live in Kent with my fiancee and 2 little boys (aged 4 months and 3 years). We are getting married in Florida in April, can't wait!

Booby history: I had my 1st BA 10 years ago and went from barely a 34aa to a small 34c with 270cc silicone overs. I used Mr Arnstein at the McIndoe and have been soooooooooo happy with the results for 10 years. I recently noticed my right implant was lumpy and hard around the edges and I was told a have cc in both implants although the look if them is unchanged, they still look good but just feel horrible.

Anyway, had my 2nd consultation with Mr Arnstein today and I'm sooooo stressed and confused! I want to go slightly bigger and he's suggested I could have 370cc or 395cc as overs and thinks extra high profile nagor GFXs would be good as I like them to be quite round and natural looking underneath. I'm 5feet9, dress size 12 with virtually no natural breast tissue. Has anyone else with these stats had successful overs around the 400cc level??
I asked about unders which he said he would be happy to do but he said they can move and look more unnatural? I thought unders would be a good option to try and avoid cc again. He thinks cc is just as common with unders but it just takes longer to feel it?
Someone please help! Is there anyone out there who was/is a flat chested, tall, size 12 girl? I would like to know what you went for/are planning on having.

Surgery is in 2 weeks time, eek!

Thanks. Look forward to getting to know you all better.

I'm a size 10-12 5ft 3in (so a bit shorter). I started out a 32A and had 410cc high profile overs. I was told I had enough breast tissue to have overs and trusted my surgeon completely. I know quite a few girls have had succesful overs with a little but enough breast tissue. You may think you have none but after reading James Mcdiarmids explanation on how they test how much you have by being able to pinch 2 inches of tissue (which really isn't much) but it is enough.
Have you had any other consultations?

Hi, thanks for your reply! Your boobs look fab, just the sort of look I want so maybe I will just have to trust him and go with the overs. In all honesty I would prefer overs again cause I know what to expect with the recovery, doing exercise etc etc. Plus I've never had a single problem with them and had so many compliments. I just don't want to get cc after a few months but my ps said I could swap to unders free of charge if I wasn't happy in the 1st year so thats good. I completely trust him so I haven't had any other consultations, maybe I should just to get a 2nd opinion? Thanks again.

hi there
not got much to add really to what missf1 said above but if your ps will change form overs to unders in a year anyway if you aren't happy then I personally would have overs again maybe?? Better that way than having unders now and not getting on with that placement asapparently it is harder to change from unders to overs than from overs to unders!
Kinda a better the devil you know situation really. That being said, I have just had partial unders and relly love them, I am 5'7'', 9st12 and a size10/12 but I had a larger implant than you are considering at 515cc but when you have posted some more ( 30 posts and two weeks membership) I will be happy to let you see my pics, just pm me when you are allowed to if you wish.

Good Luck with the re-op and the decisions xx

I have 410cc overs taking me from a 32B to an F cup hun, prior to that I had 460ccs and have had no rippling whatsoever, I did suffer a rupture but that had nothing to do with the placement babe.

Sounds to me like your surgeon is very confident in his choice of placement for you hun, so much so he'll will to offer the free re-op up front if you aren't happy - I'd be very satisfied with that babe.

But... if you have ANY concerns at all, you can always seek the opinion of other surgeons first before proceeding to enable you to be completely comfortable that the decision is the right one for you.

Good luck kettlel and welcome to BJSF! Confused/stressed please help!! 368291

Hi kettlel,

I'm a size 12 and 5ft 7. I'm a 36AA

I will be having 410 overs in August. My surgeon showed me 380's and 410's. when I tried them on in my bra I thought the 410 looked a shade better on my frame, I appear slim but I'm a bit what you'd call 'bottom heavy!'
I was surprised when he said I have enough tissue for overs, was delighted actually as I wanted overs!!
Can't wait to get it all done now!

Anyway, welcome to the forum and congrats on your wedding too!!
