6th Months check up
I had to tell someone and I thought here would be the best place.
Had my 6th month check up today ( well technically 7months) and everything is fine. My surgeon is not going to discharge me, as he said if he see's me yearly. If I have any problems I won't have to go the route via my GP again.
They are still slightly assmetyical (s/p) due to my concaved chest bone. But I'm happy with them and a lil padding in the one side isn't 2 bad. Plus he was worried I would reject them, as I rejected metal in spine when I was younger.
Doc said I was a good example of how they can change your life, as I was a very different person to the one who walked into his surgery in Jan 2009. Plus he apologised for the heartache and stress he put me through last year.
So all round a good appointment

Thats amazing news. And great news that your surgeon is happy to see you on a yearly basis to keep an eye on you. Sounds like you have a fantastic surgeon. xxx

Wow sounds like he actually is bothered about you.. All my dealings with surgeons on the NHS made me feel like i was wasting their time.
I guess some people dont know how life changing it could be to someone.
